Charles Rennie Mackintosh was born in Glasgow in1868.

He attended Glasgow school of art where he met his future wife Margaret, who became an artist in her own right.

While at art school Charles wins a competion to design a new art school.

Amongst his work is the very famous 'Willow Tree Tea Rooms' in Sauchiehall Street Glasgow Scotland.
